Prince McMichael, the victim, got into an argument with four people on a Brooklyn-bound bus that spilled out near Bruckner Boulevard and Wilkinson Avenue on Sept. 16, police told the Daily News.
The 27-year-old was then repeatedly stabbed and pronounced dead at NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi. A friend told the outlet that McMichael, who had a criminal history, had started to change his life around.
Andrew Tarafa and Nashid Monrose, both 18, were each charged, respectively, with manslaughter and two counts of gang assault for McMichael's death Monday night.
The latest arrests come just days after a 16-year-old boy, whose identity the NYPD did not release, and 19-year-old Angel Rivera were charged last week in the same attack.
The 16-year-old faces manslaughter and gang assault charges, while Rivera was charged with murder, manslaughter, gang assault and assault.
