NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for two men wanted for impersonating police officers at a Queens residence last month.
At approximately 8:15 p.m. on January 26, two men went to a residence in the vicinity of North Drive and Malba Drive, posed as police officers, and asked a 63-year-old woman for someone who didn't live in the home, authorities said.
According to officials, the woman's 20-year-old son observed that the star-shaped shields around the men's necks appeared to be fake and shut the door on them.
The two suspects fled the scene inside of a white pick-up truck that was operated by a third individual, police said.

Police on Thursday released sketches of the men sought.
The first suspect is described as a Hispanic man, in his 30s with a beard; last seen wearing a black jacket and khaki pants.

The second individual is described as a Black man, in his 30s, slim build with a mustache; last seen wearing a black hooded sweater and dark-colored pants.
Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
