NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Car thieves crashed into multiple vehicles as they fled police in Queens on Tuesday morning—a pursuit that ended with two NYPD officers injured and four suspects in cuffs.

It all began around 7 a.m. in Flushing, where a vehicle was reported stolen at 28th Road and 28th Avenue.

When officers located and attempted to pull over the stolen vehicle near the Clearview Expressway and 35th Avenue in Bayside, the driver fled the scene along with the driver of a second vehicle, police said.

The two drivers struck multiple cars before crashing both vehicles.

Four suspects scattered on foot but were ultimately nabbed by cops, according to police.

The two officers suffered injuries believed to be non-life-threatening. It wasn't immediately clear if anyone else was hurt.
