Two men in a black Mercedes collided with the police cruiser near Dyckman Street and Nagle Avenue in Inwood around 5:30 a.m., according to police.
The officers suffered minor injuries and were taken to an area hospital. One had a leg injury and the other had an arm injury.
The driver of the Mercedes fled, with the vehicle last seen heading over the University Heights Bridge to the Bronx.
Police believe the two men may be linked to a robbery about four blocks away at Ellwood Street and Nagle Avenue.
