NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for two men captured on video robbing a Bronx gas station at knifepoint and believed to be connected to a string of other recent robberies.
The first incident was reported on January 21, at 9:27 p.m., when the two unidentified men entered a bodega located at 38 West Fordham Road, in the Fordham Heights neighborhood, officials said.
According to police, one man displayed a knife as the suspects demanded cash from a 30-year-old male store worker.
The employee complied and the suspects fled on foot with $6,000.
On Tuesday, January 26, at 7 p.m., the two men entered a Shell gas station located at 1752 Webster Avenue, in Mount Hope, authorities said.
One suspect produced a knife and both men demanded cash from a 64-year-old male worker. One suspect pushed the worker into a store display and the other suspect removed $1,200 from the register. before fleeing on foot.
In the third incident, the two men entered a deli located at 1040 Grant Avenue in Concourse Village on February 8, just before 1 a.m., according to police.
One suspect brandished a knife and while the men demanded cash from a 20-year-old male store worker.
The worker complied and the unidentified males fled on foot with $600.
At 4:17 p.m. the following day, the men entered a deli located at 501 West 161 Street, in Washington Heights where one man displayed a knife and both men demanded cash from a 28-year-old female store worker, authorities said.
The worker complied and the men fled on foot with $500.
There were no injuries reported in any incident, officials said.
