NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Two students were shot and a security guard adult was grazed near a Brooklyn high school on Wednesday afternoon, according to police, who are looking for the gunman who fled on foot.

According to police, it happened just after the 2 p.m. dismissal outside Williamsburg Charter High School at 198 Varet St. in Williamsburg.

Police said there was a large fight outside.

"They ran toward somebody in the middle of the intersection, and then you just heard three or four shots," said Elizabeth, who was there to pick up a student.

A 15-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl were shot in the leg and a 37-year-old security guard was grazed in the neck. All three are expected to survive.

"I didn't think that it would get to there," Elizabeth added. "I would think it would be like a fight, like a fist fight."

An investigation is ongoing.

Wednesday's shooting comes just a day after two students were shot in the courtyard of 200 Maujer St. in the Williamsburg Houses in Brooklyn, about a half block from their high school.
