NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) –Two workers were rescued on Monday after a wall collapsed on them at a site in Queens, leaving them trapped, according to the FDNY.
The FDNY responded after receiving a call around 11:35 a.m. about a collapse at 133-28 150th St., between N. Conduit Avenue and 133rd Avenue, in South Jamaica.
Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters found the collapsed wall, which had pinned the two workers.
According to the FDNY, the two construction workers were working on waterproofing the wall on the side of the house in the basement area when the concrete structure suddenly collapsed, pinning them beneath the debris.

After a rescue operation, the workers were successfully removed from the site and transported to Jamaica Hospital for further evaluation and treatment. The two workers are expected to recover.
An investigation is ongoing.
