3 men arrested for drive-by shooting that killed 66-year-old Manhattan deli worker

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Three men were arrested on Wednesday for the fatal shooting of a 66-year-old man in Manhattan last month, according to police.

Reda Girgis was shot in the head outside Chop Cheese Deli at the intersection of West 162nd Street & Broadway in Washington Heights on May 26.

EMS rushed him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan, where he was pronounced dead.

Police arrested Jondel, Lakard, 23, Raheam Steed, 22, and Kelwin Sanchez, 19, on Wednesday.

All three men were charged with murder, assault and weapons possession for the shooting.
