NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – The NYPD shared photos of three suspects on Thursday that were involved in the robbery and assault of a teen in the Bronx earlier this week.
The incident happened on Monday at around 3:55 p.m. when a 13-year-old was assaulted and robbed by the three unidentified young men, police said.
The suspects approached the boy on 1700 block of Crotona Ave., and started to punch him and then took his cellphone by force.
After the attack, the suspects ran away from the scene on foot, leaving the victim with minor injuries, police said.
Police provided descriptions of the suspects. The first suspect is a man with a dark complexion and medium build, last seen wearing a blue facemask (worn improperly on his chin), a black jacket, black t-shirt, black sweatpants, and gray sneakers.
The second suspect has a dark complexion, but with a smaller build. His last known attire included a black jacket, black sweatpants, and blue sneakers.
The third suspect, described as having a dark complexion and medium build, was seen in a black bubble jacket, a blue hoodie, blue jeans, and white sneakers.
