VIDEO: 3 sought in group attack, robbery of SI pizza delivery man outside building

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police said they were still looking for three suspects in a violent attack and robbery of a pizza delivery man by a group outside a Staten Island apartment building in February.

At 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10, a 62-year-old male pizza delivery-person was approached by five males in front of 151 Jersey Street in the St. George neighborhood.


The group then punched him in the head, knocked him to the ground, and took $100 and the pizza, the victim, officials said.

The victim suffered cuts to his hands and pain and swelling to his head, was treated at the scene by EMS.

The NYPD arrested two teens in connection to the incident.

Lamont Almon, 18, was arrested on Thursday, March 4, at 6:45 a.m. at 131 Jersey Street and charged with robbery.

On Monday, March 8, officials arrested a 16-year-old boy who was charged with robbery, grand larceny, petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
