4 people found dead in apparent murder-suicide in the Bronx: sources

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The bodies of four adults were found in a Bronx apartment Wednesday morning, and sources told 1010 WINS that their deaths appear to be the result of a murder-suicide.

Police discovered the bodies in a fifth-floor apartment in the Castle Hill Houses on Lacombe Avenue at about 9:45 a.m.

The dead include a 75-year-old woman, 44-year-old man, 26-year-old woman and another man in his 20s, officials said.

Sources told 1010 WINS that the scene appears to be that of a murder-suicide, and a gun was recovered.

It was not immediately clear who the gunman was.

The city medical examiner will determine the cause of death, and an investigation is ongoing.
