NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are investigating after a 5-month-old baby girl was found dead on the Upper West Side early Wednesday morning.
Just before 3 a.m., officials responded to a 911 call from a residence located on West 72nd Street, near Columbus Avenue, authorities said.
Upon arrival, officers found the baby was unconscious and unresponsive.
The baby was rushed to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Police have not released additional details and the investigation is ongoing.
