NEW YORK -- Police say a 7-year-old boy who went missing from a park in Brooklyn Wednesday afternoon has been found.
Police sought the public's help in finding Yosef Shapiro, who had last been seen around 2:30 p.m. near Seaview Avenue and Paerdegat Avenue North at Canarsie Park, the NYPD's 69th Precinct said in a release.
Police provided information for the boy, who has brown eyes and brown hair, is three feet tall and weighs 60 pounds.
Authorities confirmed late Wednesday night that Shapiro had been found safe.
