NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police arrested five protesters who stormed a Burger King in downtown Brooklyn on Monday night to protest the city’s COVID-19 vaccine mandates, authorities said.
A video captured the mask-less protesters screaming at employees for refusing to serve them at the fast-food chain located on Fulton Street at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Officials were called to the scene after the group refused to show proof of vaccination then asked to leave repeatedly.
New York's vaccine mandate requires proof of vaccination for indoor dining.
Some protesters were heard shouting “Shame on you” at officials as the people were being handcuffed while others yelled that they weren’t criminals and had done nothing wrong.
Protestors 36-year-old Michael Mitchell, 39-year-old Augusto Alarcon, 41-year-old Ethan Boisvert, 41-year-old Mitchell Bosch, and 44-year-old Bradford Solomon were taken into custody and all charged with trespassing and remaining unlawfully inside the Burger King and issued desk appearance tickets, according to the NYPD.
An investigation is ongoing.
