NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released surveillance footage Tuesday of a trio of men accused of chasing a taxi to rob a man of his luxury watch in Midtown over the weekend.
At approximately 5:15 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9, a 46-year-old man was walking in front of 438 West 37th St. when he was approached by the crew who demanded his Cartier Santos wristwatch.
The victim attempted to flee from the trio in a taxi, but the suspects pursued the taxi on foot, displayed a firearm and forcibly stole the watch from the victim.
The suspects then fled the location on foot to parts unknown.
