NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released video footage on Wednesday of a group of armed men accused of stealing cash, jewelry, and designer sneakers from their victims in the Bronx last month.
The incident occurred just after 1 a.m. on Thursday, August 12, when three suspects approached a 40-year-old and a 36-year-old in the vicinity of 1299 Franklin Avenue in the Morrisania neighborhood, authorities said.
One suspect brandished a handgun as the trio demanded the victim's property, according to police.
The victims complied and handed over their jewelry, a cell phone and $130 in cash, officials said.
One victim is seen handing over the yellow sneakers that were on his feet.
The suspects then fled the scene inside two vehicles: a black Infiniti sedan westbound on East 169 Street and a Silver Lexus sedan northbound on Franklin Avenue, the NYPD said.

Police describe the suspects as three Black male 20 to 30 years old.
