NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An attacker followed a man into a Queens subway station elevator and slashed his face with a knife earlier this month, the NYPD said Tuesday.
The 36-year-old man was inside an elevator at the Court Square subway station around 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 1 when the attacker followed him inside and slashed him across the face with a knife, police said.

The attacker fled the station after the assault, the NYPD said. His victim was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition, the NYPD said.
