NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is investigating a possible anti-gay crime attack on a man walking into a CVS near Penn Station over the weekend.
The attack occurred as the 24-year-old victim walked into the pharmacy located at 5 Pennsylvania Plaza at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 24.
Surveillance video released by the NYPD shows the suspect punch the victim in the back of the head and neck while hurling anti-gay remarks, according to police.
The susepct then fled on foot westbound on 34th Street towards 9th Avenue, officials said.
The victim refused medical attention at the scene.
An investigation remains ongoing by the NYPD's Hate Crime Task Force.
