NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A Brooklyn federal judge sentenced a 36-year-old Brooklyn man who sexually assaulted a woman while she slept on a flight from Abu Dhabi to John F. Kennedy Airport to one year of probation on Friday.
The woman, who was 25 years old at the time, was asleep in a window seat on Feb. 24, 2018 when Daniel Katz put his hand down her pants.
Katz was convicted of abusive sexual contact and assault.
In addition to the probation, he’ll be placed on a sex offender registry, serve three months house arrest and carry out 75 hours of community service.
