NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 14-year-old boy was arrested at a Bronx school on Thursday morning after a loaded gun was found in the back of his moped, authorities said.
At about 10 a..m., police found the gun on the moped outside of the J. M. Rapport School Career Development located on Jackson Avenue in Mott Haven, police said.
School safety agents on Wednesday, Sept. 27, observed the student on the moped acting suspiciously, and believed he may have been concealing a weapon, sources told the Post.
The student took the moped back to school on Thursday and parked it behind the building.
The school safety agents discovered the loaded handgun inside of the moped.
Police seized the gun and the moped after finding out it was stolen.
The student's name was not released due to his age.
