NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released a photo of a man accused of repeatedly stabbing a teen boy on a Queens subway platform on Thursday morning.

At approximately 9:50 a.m. a 16-year-old boy was standing on the southbound platform at the 103 St–Corona Plaza subway station when he was approached by the suspect.


According to officials, the suspect began a verbal conversation with the victim then stabbed him four times with a knife before fleeing the subway station on foot to parts unknown.

The victim was transported by private means to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue hoodie, grey sweatpants, and multi-colored sneakers.
