NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police launched an investigation after a 17-year-old boy was shot during a prom party inside a high-rise apartment building in Brooklyn Thursday night, authorities said.
According to officials, it happened just before 8:40 p.m. at a party inside the PLG building, a 26-story residential tower located at 123 Linden Blvd. in Flatbush.
The teen was shot in the torso, cops said.
He was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County in stable condition.
There have been no arrests man and an investigation remains ongoing.
