NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 5-year-old boy is in critical condition after he was struck by a car in Brooklyn on Wednesday, police said.
Cops said the incident happened on Avenue N and East 12th Street in Midwood.
The victim was transported to an area hospital.
A preliminary investigation revealed the boy was in a driveway when he was struck by a 49-year-old woman.
The driver remained at the scene and no criminality is suspected at this time.
It is currently unknown whether the driveway belonged to the victim or if he had any connection to it.
