NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A speeding drunk driver and a second driver without a license both face charges after a violent T-bone crash in Brooklyn on Monday evening left a 1-year-old boy in critical condition with a fractured skull, police said Tuesday.
It all began when the Honda's driver, a 28-year-old woman, was speeding up Mother Gaston Boulevard in Brownsville around 7 p.m.
A 21-year-old woman was in the passenger seat with the boy, who is her son, on her lap.

The driver blew through a red light at Livonia Avenue and was running another red light at Dumont Avenue when her Honda smashed into the side of an Acura driven by a 38-year-old woman, according to police.
The impact sent debris all over the intersection and left both vehicles on the sidewalk.
The 1-year-old boy, who was not secured in a car seat, suffered critical injuries in the crash, including a fractured skull, police said.
His mother and the driver were not seriously hurt. The driver was taken into custody under the suspicion of driving under the influence.
The driver of the Acura was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County for her injuries. She faces charges of driving with a suspended license out of New Jersey.
