NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released surveillance footage on Tuesday of a suspect wanted for hurling wood through a Bronx subway window last week, striking a man on the platform.
Just after 9 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 9, the suspect entered the train operator's cabin of a southbound 6 train inside of the East 149th Street subway station, police said.
Once inside, the suspect removed a wood conductor's board and threw it through a train car window, striking a 40-year-old man standing on the southbound platform in the head, officials said.
The suspect remained on the southbound 6 train and fled to parts unknown.

The victim sustained a cut to the head. EMS transported him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem in stable condition.
