NEW YORK (AP/1010 WINS) — A 21-year-old Brooklyn woman has been arrested in the death of her month-old baby earlier this year, police said Thursday.
Elsa Sanchez was arrested Wednesday in the death of her son, Daquan Vaughan-Sanchez, who was found unconscious and unresponsive in the family’s apartment on E. 32nd Street in East Flatbush on March 8.

The infant was taken to a hospital, where he died two days later.
The boy's death was deemed a homicide earlier this month.
Sanchez was arrested on charges of manslaughter, reckless assault on a child causing brain injury and acting in a manner injurious to a child.
It wasn’t clear if she had an attorney who could comment on the charges.
