NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A package thief went on the attack when a woman caught her stealing from the lobby of a Brooklyn apartment building, police said Wednesday as they released images of the suspect.
The suspect was stealing mail and packages from a lobby at Fulton Street and Washington Avenue in Flatbush around 7:20 a.m. on Jan. 8 when the 49-year-old victim tried to stop her, according to police.
The confrontation ended with the thief biting the victim’s hand and taking off in a golden BMW SUV, police said.
The victim declined medical attention at the scene.
