
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Monday released a photo of a man accused of stabbing a Brooklyn grocery store employee with a pencil during a robbery earlier this month.
At approximately 8:40 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 16, the suspect entered the store located at 1524 Kings Highway in Midwood, the NYPD said.
The suspect left location without paying for approximately $123 of store items, officials said.
When confronted by a 38-year-old employee, the suspect displayed a pencil and stabbed him in the hand before fleeing on foot into the Kings Highway train station.
The victim refused medical attention.
The suspect was last seen wearing glasses, white T-shirt, blue shorts, and white sneakers.
