VIDEO: Burglar who repeatedly targeted Brooklyn synagogue sought by police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is looking to identify a man accused of repeatedly targeting and stealing over $2,000 from a Brooklyn synagogue, according to authorities.

The first incident happened at approximately 10 p.m. on Wednesday, November 24 when the suspect entered the Congregation Israel of Kings B Synagogue in Sheepshead Bay by breaking a rear window.

The suspect took approximately $600 dollars from a donation box and fled on foot to parts unknown, officials said.

At approximately 3:45 a.m. on Thursday, December 2, the suspect entered the same synagogue by breaking a rear window and stole approximately $750 dollars from a donation box before fleeing on foot to parts unknown, the NYPD said.

Days later, on Sunday, December 5, just before 1 a.m., the suspect again entered the same synagogue by breaking a rear window.

The suspect took $850 dollars from a donation box and fled on foot to parts unknown.
