Car thief pushes woman out of car in Brooklyn, drives away

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are on the hunt for a carjacker who pushed a woman out of a car in Brooklyn last weekend and drove off.

The brazen theft happened Saturday just after 1:35 p.m. near Nostrand Avenue and Avenue Y.

According to police, the man entered the unoccupied driver's side of a 30-year-old victim's car while a 22-year-old woman sat in the passenger seat.

The man grabbed the woman and shoved her out of the vehicle as she tried to escape. He fled the scene in the car.
