NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Former CNN host Chris Cuomo is reportedly filing arbitration against his former network and is seeking to have his legal and public relations bills paid amid other requests to clear his name, sources told Fox Business's Charles Gasparino.

CNN sources told Gasparino that the 51-year-old is seeking a payment of his $20 million contract and is moving forward with an arbitration claim for his improper termination. He will reportedly only accept a monetary settlement that allows him to clean up his image.

Cuomo was fired in December after a probe by New York Attorney General Letitia James revealed that he helped his brother, then-Gov. Andrew Cuomo, spin and downplay sexual harassment allegations against him — in the midst of a sexual harassment allegation that reportedly led to his firing.

In addition, Cuomo will reportedly argue his dealings with his brother were not unique, comparing their relationship to that of now-former CNN head Jeff Zucker, who resigned Wednesday after confirming he had a romantic relationship with top network executive Allison Gollust.

Soon after Cuomo was fired, Zucker announced that CNN would not grant him severance pay.
