NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Two UPS workers heading to work were slashed on a subway platform in Midtown following a dispute on the train Tuesday morning, police said.
At around 4:47 a.m., the victims -- two men 42-year-old men, were on a downtown N train heading to work when a verbal dispute ensued with a 22-year-old man, authorities said.
The men exited the train at the Lexington and 59th Street station and the argument continued and the 22-year-old man brandished a folding knife and proceeded to slash one victim on the hand and torso, and the second victim on the wrist and forearm, police told 1010 WINS.
Both men were able to grab the attacked and a third party called 911.
Police arrive and took the man they described as "undomiciled" into custody.
Charges against him are pending, officials said.
The two victims were taken to Weill Cornell and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
