
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A worker died in a fall at a Manhattan construction site on Friday morning, police said.
The 52-year-old worker fell from the 16th floor of a building that is under construction on E. 40th Street, near Third Avenue in Murray Hill, police told the Daily News.
The worker suffered “trauma throughout the body” after falling from “an elevated platform” around 8:30 a.m., according to police.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and has not yet been identified.
An investigation into the fall is ongoing. The medical examiner will determine his cause of death.
