
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a masked person who robbed a Bronx deli at gunpoint on Saturday.
The suspect held up Jana Convenience and Grocery on Third Avenue near Willis Avenue in Melrose around 9:10 a.m., officials said.
The robber pulled a gun on the cashier and demanded money, according to authorities.
The deli worker reportedly handed over cash from the register, and the robber fled with $745.
No one was injured during the robbery.
