NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Officials on Saturday arrested a Long Island day care owner after a 10-month-old boy was seriously injured at her business in September.

According to police, 34-year-old Natalie Rose, owner of Kiddie Academy in Bethpage, is accused of falsifying an incident report after the incident on Sept. 24 in which the infant did not receive the proper care.

The state Office of Children and Family Services uncovered Rose’s alleged wrongdoing, after the boy’s injury incited a probe, authorities said.

Rose was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, falsifying business records and offering a false instrument for filing.

She is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 17.
