NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 72-year-old man crashed his car into a Brooklyn nail salon Sunday morning, authorities said.
The driver was in a Mercedes sedan at 1315 Avenue Z in Sheepshead Bay around 11:30 a.m. when the accident happened, police said.
According to officials, the man mistakenly hit the gas pedal instead of the brake causing the car to crash into the nail salon.
No structural damage was done to the building but the driver sustained minor injuries.
