NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking to identify two suspects wanted for stabbing two teens with a broken glass bottle during a robbery attempt at a Queens playground last week.

At approximately 2:20 a.m. on Saturday, August 26, two suspects approached two teens, ages 17 and 18, while at the Junction playground in the vicinity of 34th Avenue and 96th Street in Jackson Heights.


The suspects demanded property from both victims before displaying a glass beer bottle, officials said.

The suspects then broke the bottle and stabbed the 17-year-old in the chest and stabbed the 18-year-old victim in the head, neck and hand.

Both suspects fled on foot southbound on Junction Boulevard towards 35th Avenue.

EMS transported both victims to Harlem Hospital Center- NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem in stable condition.
