Duo steals $100K of merchandise from BX jewelry store

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Two men robbed a Brooklyn jewelry store of hundreds of thousands of dollars in merchandise Friday evening, authorities said.

The thieves entered Roxy Jewelry at 718 Flatbush Avenue where they approached a 79-year-old man and stole various jewelry before fleeing the scene, police said.

No injuries were reported as a result of the robbery.

Cops said the estimated value of the stolen goods is over $100,000.
