NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The Empire State Building will be lit up in red and green to celebrate both the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles as they face off in Super Bowl LVII Sunday night.
At sunset, the lights will be split down the middle in the colors of each time, one side green for the Eagles and red for the Chiefs, organizers said.
The building will also feature a live scoreboard during the game and when a team scores, the building will sparkle in that team's colors for one minute before returning to equal parts.
The Empire State Building will be then lit up in the champion’s colors until 2 a.m. Monday.
The effort to remain neutral comes after the iconic building found itself in hot water a few weeks ago when it lit up in Eagles' colors as the team beat the 49ers.
Super Bowl LVII kicks off at 6:30 p.m.
