NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A gas station worker was struck in the head with a can in a Bronx robbery Tuesday, police said as they released an image of the suspect.
According to police, the thief entered a gas station located at 2947 Jerome Ave. around 1:50 a.m.
He threw the can, simulating a firearm then removed money from the register.
The individual fled southbound on Jerome Avenue.
The victim did not require medical attention as a result of this robbery.
