NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A 14-year-old girl was killed after the BMW she was in crashed into the back of a parked UPS truck, ejecting her onto a roadway in Queens on Wednesday evening, police said.
The red 2005 BMW 325i collided with the truck just before 6:40 p.m. at North Conduit Avenue and 160th Street in Springfield Gardens.
The 14-year-old was ejected from the car and suffered severe head trauma. She was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:50 p.m. She was later identified as Fortune Williams, of Queens.

A 16-year-old boy who was driving the BMW was transported to Cohen Children's Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
Police said the teen driver was traveling at a "high rate of speed" when he attempted to change lanes and lost control, causing the BMW to strike the UPS truck and spin clockwise into a tractor-trailer truck.

Surveillance video from an adjacent home shows the BMW speeding down the roadway moments before crashing into the UPS truck.
The impact caused the UPS driver, who was entering the truck at the time, to fall backwards onto a lawn, the video shows.
The UPS driver was transported by EMS to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was in stable condition.
A 49-year-old man driving the tractor-trailer truck was not injured.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, police said.
