NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released surveillance footage of a green-haired woman Wednesday accused of repeatedly punching a 73-year-old woman in an unprovoked subway attack last week.
It happened at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, when the victim was on a Manhattan-bound E train approaching the Fifth Avenue/53rd Street station.
According to officials, the victim was approached by the woman who began yelling at her. When the victim exited the train, the woman punched her multiple times in the face and fled the location on a Queens-bound E train, police said.
The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated on scene by EMS.
The suspect is described as having green and blonde hair. She has tattoos on her legs and left arm.
