NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a group of men accused of beating a man and stealing his fanny pack on a Queens street last month.
At approximately 3:45 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 18, in front of 85-15 Northern Blvd. in Jackson Heights, a 35-year-old male victim and five men engaged in a dispute.
The group then began to repeatedly punch and kick the victim before taking a fanny pack from him.
The suspects then fled the location on foot, traveling northbound on 86th Street toward 32nd Avenue.
The victim was removed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst in stable condition.
One person was arrested and four others are still sought, police said.
