NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Officials are searching for a gunman they said shot a man sitting in his car Monday morning in Brooklyn.
According to police, at 6:45 a.m., the victim was sitting in his vehicle at East 98th and East New York Avenue in Brownsville when he was approached by an unknown man who began shooting into the car.
The gunman fled in an unknown direction, authorities said.
The victim was taken to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition.
An investigation is ongoing.
