NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police are searching for gunman after three people were shot and injured in a Bronx playground on Monday night, authorities said.
The shooting happened around 8:40 p.m. at the Bathgate playground located at Bathgate Avenue near East 182nd Street in Belmont, cops said.
According to officials, the gunman fired multiples shots.
Upon arrival, first responders discovered two people suffering from gunshot wounds.
A third person later walked to nearby St. Barnabas Hospital for treatment.
All three victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries and are expected to survive the shooting.
There have been no arrests made and an investigation is ongoing.
