NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police released a video of a man wanted in connection to a robbery and shooting that occurred on a Manhattan street early Sunday, according to officials.
The incident happened at approximately 2:15 a.m. in front of 217 East 30th Street in Midtown when the suspect approached a 35-year-old man and displayed a firearm while demanding his watch and necklace, police said.
The victim complied, at which point the armed suspect discharged the firearm, striking the victim in his thigh, authorities said.
The suspect fled with the watch and necklace in an unknown direction.
EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue for treatment.
