NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police launched an investigation early Thursday after a valet at a Manhattan nightclub was robbed at gunpoint by a group of armed men, according to authorities.
The incident occurred at around 4 a.m. when three men on motorized bicycles pulled up to 207 Prime Bar and Grill located at 565 West 207th Street, in Inwood, officials said.
Police said two of the suspect approached the 21-year-old valet brandished their guns and took over $6,000 from him along with the car keys of all of its patrons.
The exact number of keys taken remains unknown, the NYPD said.
The group fled south down Sherman Avenue, police said.
An investigation remains ongoing.
