A group of shooters opened fire on the crowd behind a three-story apartment building on Essex Street near Atlantic Avenue around 11:30 p.m., officials said.

Two were hit at the party — a 15-year-old who was shot in the leg and a male of uncertain age who was shot in the arm.

The third victim was shot in the arm down the block at the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Essex Street.

Emergency responders rushed the two victims shot at the party to Brookdale Hospital and the third victim to Cohen Children’s Medical Center.

All are expected to survive.

Police have not yet made any arrests connected to the shooting, and an investigation is ongoing.
