NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A humpback whale was caught on video in the Hudson River near Midtown on Monday.
The whale made its way south down the river near the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum by pier 84 around 4:15 p.m.
“So cool!” Andres Javier who shared the video, wrote on Twitter.
According to Gotham Whale, the whale most likely visited for food and urged Mariners around NYC to slow down.
“Mariners around NYC please SLOW DOWN and be on the look out for the #HumpbackWhale sighted in the #HudsonRiver,” they wrote on Twitter.
