NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A sign that the pandemic may be coming to an end in New York City is the push to reopen.
Mayor de Blasio announced a plan to fully reopen the city on July 1.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo declined to be tied to a date but said he would like to see a reopening soon and has increased capacity at restaurants, bars, and stadiums.
Starting Monday, May 3, over 80,000 city employees will return to their offices, and it's expected that other employers will also be asking employees to go back to the office.
On this week's episode, we'll discuss if the workers are ready to return, what new office life will look like, and what you should do to stay safe.
Our first guest is Kathryn Wylde; she's the current CEO and President of Partnership for New York City, the city's leading business non-profit organization.
We will also hear from Jamie Greenberger, a safety and security expert at Safety.com, a review and research company with experts in all things safety.
